This volume compiles a series of in-depth studies developed as part of the Sicilian Lithics. Between Built Heritage and Contemporaneity research project, which seeks to intersect perspectives from various disciplines, including Technological Design, Design, and Architectural History.
The goal is to explore the potential uses of local natural stone materials, examining their technological applications and their material and formal value in architectural projects. This endeavour is supported by a deeper understanding of the historical uses and techniques of construction on the island.
