Francesco Taormina teaches Architectural Composition at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” and is part of the teaching staff of the “Architecture and Construction” PhD; invited lecturer at Italian and foreign universities, he is a member of several scientific committees of editorial series and architecture magazines. He has been awarded several times for his project research activity and his work has been the subject of publications and has been exhibited in international exhibitions. He hasdealt with the theme of the house in the volumes: Una villa di Giuseppe Samonà (Officina, Roma 1988), La semplicità della casa (Libria, Melfi 2002), Una casa e la città (Clear, Roma 2003), Le Corbusier. Due petites maisons e il valore autonomo dell’architettura (Edibus, Vicenza 2018).
