Roberta Ingaramo. Architect, PhD, Assistant Professor of Architecture and Urban Design, Department of Architecture and Design, Politecnico di Torino, Master in Conservation of Historic Towns and Buildings, Katholieke Universiteit, Leuven. After first experiences in Paris at Reichen et Robert & Associés, she came back to Italy and conducted design research work, participating in international design competitions with prizes. In the last years visiting researcher at CMU in Pittsburgh and invited lecturer at Lawrence Tech and ETSAM in Madrid. She is editor with Voghera A. of the book Topics and Methods for Urban and Landscape Design (Springer International 2016) and author of two monographs: Dall’immagine del costruito alla costruzione del progetto (Celid 2009) and, with Voghera A., Planning and Architecture. Maicol Negrello. Architect, Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Architecture at the Department of Architecture and Design (DAD), Politecnico di Torino. Visiting Researcher at ETSAB – UPC Barcelona and TU Delft. He pursues research encompassing regenerative urban design, architecture for climate adaptation, and the coexistence of humans and nature. He is an Invited Professor at IED Torino and Scientific Coordinator of the International Winter School with EMILA – UPC and the intensive PhD course at TU Delft. He also serves as Vice-President of the OrtiAlti association, advocating urban regeneration through nature-based and co-design approaches incorporating interspecies design. Among his key publications are Surviving the City. Nature as an Architecture Design Strategy for a More Resilient Urban Ecosystem, co-authored with R. Ingaramo, and Designing with Nature Climate-Resilient Cities: A Lesson from Copenhagen, both published by Springer. He has also won international competitions, including Europan 17 in Sweden and Norway, in partnership with Collettivo Selvaticus, the independent architecture collective he co-founded.
