OMNE/WORK showcases the results of the first workshop for artists in residency. The complexity of the landscape of northeastern Italy is interpreted through ten different views, interweaving memory and the contemporary. WORK is the fundamental element underlying the social pact that holds a community together, shapes the landscape and its productive spaces, redesigns mobility and reorganizes the context of public and private life. For decades, in a blend of entrenched reality and common locations, the land of the northeast has devoted its renown to work. Through work, a regional entity has been put together and a landscape transformed, thus deciding the future of a large geographical area.

The origin of the project lies in the idea of a route, a walking path across the local area, in search of possible ties between space, the landscape and the body that lives there.
